Wild turkey harvest in Ontario has grown
steadily since 1987 when 64 birds were taken
during their first spring season. In 2003,
an estimated 6,434 turkeys were harvested.
The opening of the 2006 wild turkey hunting
season on April 25 marks an incredible milestone
in conservation history -- 20 years of turkey
hunting in Ontario!

(Archery hunting only on Sundays)
Bag Limit: 1 per license, 2 licenses
max per hunter. Only 1 bird may be taken per
day.
Legal Hours: 1/2 hour before sunrise
to 7 pm
Open to Non-residents - Hunter must pass
wild turkey test.
